What does a Campus Recruiter do?

A Campus Recruiter connects companies with students and recent graduates. You will visit campuses, conduct presentations, and represent the company during hiring events.

You will also review applications, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers. The role involves both planning and execution. Some days will be spent meeting candidates, while others will focus on strategy and coordination.

To do well in this role, you need strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly. You should be comfortable interacting with students, placement teams, and internal stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Prior experience in recruitment, especially campus hiring, is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple hiring drives and timelines
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools
  • Willingness to travel for campus events and drives
  • Good organizational and coordination skills
